What's Up, Tina?

my last cigarette

Never in my entire life have I bought a cigarette.
Let alone a pack.
Imagine...a pack of cigarettes.
20 sticks of direct damage to your lungs,
excluding the pollution you breathe in day-to-day.
This is not to try to make me look cool,
Because if I did, I could've done this since high school.
And no, I'm too adult enough to be cool.
I am too educated enough to know the consequences of smoking.
But regardless, life is just madness
and you need an outlet to ease the stress.
I used to look down upon people who smoke
because why, of all things, would you get stoked?
my father got stroked;
people got broke,
and the health enthusiasts spoke,
that this is bad for you. so please don't take it as a joke?
but now, things have changed as I've become an adult.
all these no good things can be a good result
smoking is like meditation.
you breathe in,
you breathe out,
and you feel relaxed...with nicotine.
but no, i'm not tied to this routine,
i just gathered a different perspective that is unseen.
but should I buy another packet?
no, once is enough.
this is just a chapter in my life
I once bought a packet of cigarettes
and i get to understand smokers
and i become stressed
and this is one way to suppress,
and it's okay.
